While I can't fathom why this car would be for sale, all of the details in the ad check out; the VIN, the location, the exterior/interior colors - even the exhaust makes sense, since this car use to have a Tubi straight pipes exhaust.

But, for the life of me, I can't figure out why someone would make this car so perfect (the wheels, the exhaust, the blackness) and then sell it.

If it's really for sale, congratulations to whoever snatches it up.

They need the money? And since it is one of the few black Enzos, why Ebay? Seems a private treaty would bring a better price.

Whats the deal with the exhaust? I have never seen such a system on an Enzo before.

A lot of people list high-end cars on Ebay with no intention of actually selling them through Ebay --- they just use it as a very cheap way to advertise the sale to a very large (and worldwide) market ---- then the sale takes place "offline".

I wonder what the reserve price is?
    Starting bid is $1,000,000 ---- that's a shame because I was going to offer $999,999 :)

Ebay makes $ from the listing regardless.

Ron, David is exactly right. Take a look at this thread, for example. If that eBay auction informed 100 people of that Enzo's availability, then this thread will inform 1,000 people - easily. And that's just this forum. eBay is a fantastic marketing tool - even if you never actually sell anything through it.

That's one of the coolest Enzo's I've seen. I'm sure it's hard to let go.

Me too...! Every time I close my eyes...!

If I promised to tithe my income to the current owner for the rest of my life, you think he'd give it up...? :)

Have you written down a definite goal on paper for ownership of the Enzo?

Is there a specific date attached to this goal?
