Hey Guys, ive been watching cars for ages now and it seems that the number of Black ferrari's that come up for sale is very few and far between. Is it that black Ferrari's arn't popular in Australia? or just that those with Black cars are more likely to be the kind of people who keep them? It seems that there are more Yellow, Blue, Silver etc (i didnt mention red because we know that the majority are red), has anyone else noticed this? it just seems that trying to get a black ferrari is prety tough
Are you looking for one? I've actually seen 3 black ones - 328GTS at Barbagallos, 'that' Dino, and this 355 Berlinetta in South Perth. I believe the 355 is actually for sale now - at Centrepoint Motor Company in Vic Park. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Room to negotiate! Being a '95, I'd say $170 would be absolute top price, and for that it would have to be immaculate, with service records and recent major service. 160k would be closer to what I'd offer if I were in the market. They could take it or leave it (they'd probably leave it!)
100 tops he's a cheapskate like me 355s are still coming down and the arrival of the 430 hasn't helped any. that black 355 looks great, know someone who has one and he is real happy with the colour but has trouble keeping it below 140 (MPH!!) , of course he's mad (Lusso64 )
OH NO!!! I've just inherited DickieG's mantle!!! Redbook says: 1995 FERRARI F355 Coupe Berlinetta 2dr Man 6sp 3.5i (Feb onwards) average kms 120,000 - 140,000 Trade in price guide* $121K - $135K National average price - private sale* $134K - $156K Price when new (RRP) $275K Because the mileage is only 35k, I factored in a slight premium. So $160k would be, IMHO a good price.
Im not saying i havnt seen any, but that is in fact the first black 355 ive seen for sale in 18 months (Berlinetta), and that was originally on at $220k :-o, but ive seen heaps more blue, silver, titanio ones over this time. Seems that allot of 328's are black, but ive never seen a black 348??
A shame there is not a lot of black 348's out there, they are beautiful! Black 348TS Image Unavailable, Please Login
There was a black 348 Spider at the Victorian Ferrari Concours, looked great alongside a yellow 355 Spider. http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/7496/img99410fy.jpg
Lleyton Hewitt's 360 Spider is black but few have apparently seen it since he purchased it in December last year.
im not disputing that theyre around, i was curious if blue, silver, yellow & Titanio are more popular however? and whether people who buy black cars are likely to keep them longer than most?
When you say 'that' Dino, who owns it and what is its history? I'm sure I could find out if I went back through F Chat but how about a helping hand?
Looney - I'd say that the fact there are less of them is the reason you don't see them for sale as often. As said I've seen 3 black Ferrari's and 2 of those have been for sale at some stage. I can't be bothered searching so here are the pics again I said 'that' Dino beause it got quite a nice reaction every time the pics are posted - no idea about owner or history. I must say that black 348 TS & spider look like sex on wheels, very nice. I'm not fussed on the 246 dino, but hey ive seen 246's in some weird colours over the last 20 years, burnt orange, opal green, metallic blue, bronze, sand like gold colour, white, fly yellow of course but thats the first black one ive seen. PS HATE THE WHEELS to TRY HARD. males it looks like some cheap JAP JUNK. andrew
