Just wanted to share my experience with Carl at Black Horse. Having done the major on my 355 Fiorano (with Tubi added on of course), I was getting a nasty squeeking sound coming from both the back and front end when both braking and steering. A real bummer...
After having had another authorized dealer take a look (and of course, charging me for that look) it acutally sounded worse. Very frustrating... I then called Carl who told me to bring it in immediately which I did. After lifting it up and test driving it, he summized that the after market brake pads that had been put on it were simply to hard of a pad for my set up and immediately changed the pads out to a set of four he had in stock. Upon returning to fetch my car, I didn't hear so much of as a peep. Feeling good knowing now that my 355 was ready to roll, I asked Carl how much I owed him and he said, "Nothing, you have any other problems with it, you just bring it back" Certainly a far cry from any authorized dealer.
Moral of the story, if you live in Southern California, feel blessed that we have a guy like Carl to look after our cars. Now don't expect free work from Carl (nor should you) but the trust that he has bestowed upon me could never be replaced and believe me, I'm only taking mine to Blackhorse. I strongly suggest anyone out there reading this do the same.
    Carl, you Rock!!
