    I have a 2013 458 Spider in Grigio Titanio.

I believe they are the stock diamond cut wheel and they appear polished silver. The calipers are yellow.

I'm thinking I would like a little more contrast in appearance.

So I am thinking about having the wheels powder coated black.

I have seen both gloss and matte wheels up close on Ferrari's but not on a car my color.

Help me choose between gloss and matte finishes please.

Any other issues to be aware of like durability or care between gloss and matte?

If choosing between black finishes I would opt for satin. Matte tends to be too dull for my liking and polished black can hide the detail/lines of the wheel.

I say gloss. Matte is so much harder to clean...I've had both.

Consider just getting another set of wheels as an option too.

Gloss scratches easily, just he sure to ceramic coat if you go that route.

Satin. In between a high gloss and full matte. IMO the perfect finish for wheels.

I did satin black on my 458. Happy with how they look and no issues after 2 years.

I would go satin. My Speciale has matte black wheels but they always look dull/chalky. I ordered my 812 with TdF wheels in black and seem to be more of a satin finish. They have just the right amount of sheen. The car is also Grigio Titanio with yellow calipers so this photo may help.

Also, the paint shop can always add another layer of clear coat if you find them to not be glossy enough. I’ve done this with a couple GT Porsches I ordered with black wheels but found the finish to be too flat. Here’s my 3RS with a shot of clear coat for reference.

I have both gloss black and matte black. I prefer the gloss, but they look matte after a day or 2. I clean them once every 5,000 miles whether they need it or not :)

I dropped my wheels off last week at the powder coaters with exactly the same dilemma. I have a new set of silver rims and wanted to change them to something like the Ferrari satin. Looking at the chips and samples there, satin looked kinda dull more like matt, I asked about a clear over the top and he said they will just look gloss. I ended up picking semi gloss based on the chips as it looked the most like satin, which I think is paint so maybe that accounts for some of the difference?
I pick them up in a week and can post pictures.

Your RS looks great. I had a 14 GT3 with the same center locks but they were kind of a platinum color.

+1 Satin looks great. Not a fan of gloss at all.

Leaning toward satin. Want to put some new Michelin PS-4's on it at the same time!
