    Hey guys...I've never liked a black car and am filling my stable with silvers. But, I must be a day late and a dollar short. Just watched the movie "TRANSPORER 2" last night and was blown away by the scenes with the black roadster. Are they that awesome in real life? Hmmmmm...black does look good next to silver, so....................

    Yeah... I just saw that movie last week for the first time myself. The black Murci was indeed quite the picture of perfection on the screen. I loved seeing it screaming down the road with its "batwings" (or whatever they're known as among the Lambo crowd) wide open. It definitely adds a different, much more agressive look to the (already furious) car.

    Roy...would the black murcie roadster be something I could drive home from Seattle to NC? How about the Diablos? I know the roadster lacks a top, would be be rather impractical for 3,000 mile drive.

    This time of year you could, plus the soft top is good till 100 mph.....

    AND I could have shipped anywhere and go from there.......say Las Vegas to home!!

    Roy...guess I could gather up 6-7 friends and fly the Gulfstream to Vegas and meet up with the Diablo (or black murcie roadster) there. Have a few days of party time, let the friends fly back, and I drive the lambo home...with a co pilot.

    Well, where are you located? Maybe we could pick you up on the way and bring you back. Free ride, so you should enjoy. I can seat twelve, but like to stay down to 8-9. if someone wants to lay down, they would have the couch to do so. full galley and bathroom with hot/cold water...geez...what more can I say...LOL My new avatar is the actual interior. will even have a flight attendant (of my choosing)...hehehehe

    LOL....hey, it was not from being a meteorologist, I can guarantee you that my friend! Telling lies for 43 years got me nowhere, except working at 26 different locations in 43 years. Nope...being a "professional liar" did nothing for my bank account. The truth be told, I was a damn good meteorologist...I think in 43 years, I got FOUR forecasts right! LOL....

    I guess I was confused when I read you were a retired meteorologist. Hence my comment "I need to become a meteorologist" ..Sounded like you have a strong pension program for that job. Good luck with Gulfstream I am personally a Bombardier fan.

    Sad part about my career was I stayed with the federal govt all that time. If I had gone into the private sector, money would have been made, but not as a civil servant. The doctorate didn't help because I hated research.

    I am single, but feel I still need a "family" car...so am going with the Masarati QP...love the lines and interior, plus it is a driver's car.

    If anyone has something hot going and could use a silent partner, PM me and I would be happy to entertain it. Hey...can't fly and drive all the time! Seriously, I want to help people and believe in the theme of that movie..."Pay it Forward".

    Love all the comments and help this board offers. Just hope I can hook up with a group for cruises or gatherings. Maybe better chance when I move to Florida.

    LOL...love it! Do they make them in RH drive? I have a driver in London and bought him a new MB for his "elite" customers. BTW, going back to London in a week or so with my trip to Madrid and Geneva. If you close, can stop for coffee or tea.

    Ahhh the movie Pay it Forward.....one of the only movies where....yes i'll admit it....I shed a tear

    Mike...good luck with the search for the car and the home....it sounds like you're struggling to find a place in FL.....I hope its because of the over-abundance of great places to live and not the lackthereof.

    BTW....Roy's suggestion of the Vegas back to NC trip sounds like the one i'd choose if I were in your position.

    Yes I am and found a couple in GT silver. Also, found the silver SLR. Even found the Diablo at Roy's (Blue one). But after finally seeing the movie Transporter 2 and the scene with the black murcie roadster, got curious about how they were in real life. So thought I would ask about it here. I think it might go well with the silver cars and the blue diablo, but still need to think on it a little since I've never liked a black car.
