As soon as i saw the serial number, i knew it was the Lake Forest Sports Cars NNO; black with a black and red interior... i checked my folder and, sure enough, that's it... Then i checked the auction... Uh oh. This auction looks fraudulent... Check out the seller's previous sales and purchases; they're all over the place; nothing to do with cars... The starting bid is really close to LFSC's listed price on their website (a difference of about $20,000), but the thing that tips the scales on this for me is that the seller says the item is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Lake Forest Sports Cars is in Lake Bluff, Illinois... The only thing that makes me wonder is, if this IS a fraudulent auction, how'd the seller get the VIN...? It's not on LFSC's site and when i emailed them for the serial number, they never responded... Maybe someone went by there and wrote it down, i don't know... Just wondering...
I thought it was fraud also. I wanted to see what other people said before i said anything... previous items like 250 million email addresses add on 4 CD's!! And there is like 3 pictures of the car.
i don't know your client's car's s/n - also, this car has red and black seats; isn't your client's car 100% black...?
That's the Enzo at Lake Forest Sports Cars, in IL. The showroom is distinct. That's a fraud, clearly a scam. Ebay should be alerted. Forza, Cavallini
Auction ended without any bids, but, if i remember correctly, it started $5,000 less than it ended... Hmmm...
NNO, HOwdy, I remember before I left Baillargeon Audi that I found an M3 we had on our used car lot on Ebay listed by someone I did not know. They even had the nerve to contact me to see if I would lower the price to match the bid they had received. I alerted Ebay and the auction was pulled within two hours. You really have to watch, especially on the high ticket items. I never saw one of our cars on Ebay when I was with FoDallas but I am sure it has happened before.
