Here's another picture of the same black Scuderia and jeep taken by a friend who lives in Monaco. It looks like he took the picture at almost the exact same time these were taken. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The TDF blue looks stunning in the photo BUT, having had a TDF blue 360 (with the same wheels as on the spider) I can tell you the BLUE doesn't look that stunning UNLESS its under neon light. Most of the time, the blue looks considerably duller, less inspiring. If I could get a Scuderia in a blue that looks like your photo, I'd do it.
Gold wheels look better on a Subaru than a 430S. Sorry but to my eyes the silver wheels look much much nicer... Infact I've never ever liked painted wheels...
I think the gold wheels looks great! It really makes the car stand out from the normal 430. Sure you can say it makes it look like a Subaru, 70s Trans Am, Skyline GT-R, RX-7, etc. etc., but overall, it still looks HOT!
Yea your right about TDF, only in the most perfect lighting does it look really great. Most of the time it ends up looking like the Enzo pictured below. For a really nice bright royal blue, The Nissan 350Z color Daytona blue is hard to beat. I had a tuner car a few years back (pictured below) painted that color and the compliments on it's brilliance would not cease. Regardless, I feel that as long as Ferrari is giving owners more options like extra wheel colors, they should be thankful, even if particular color combos are not their style. I personally think the black on gold works for the tuner car style and is a unique look, but not something I"d spend my hard earned $300K on. It's something to set it apart from the traditional red on silver, especially if you want a Ferrari thats different to stand out from the sea of red.
