Just picked up the blackberry 8900 curve yesterday from tmobile, and my question is coming from the 8800 (one of the best phones ive ever owned) the people on the other end never complained of anything, but now with this new phone they hear every little thing....its like the microphone is turned way up, my question is what can I do to lower this, or eliminate this....im not a fan of bluetooth, and choose not to use one....

Can't answer your question, as I'm expecting my 8900 to be delivered tomorrow. However, you may want to ask at the forums at www.crackberry.com, or blackberryforums.com

I've never had that problem with mine and I've had two different 8900's. You do have 14 days from when you got it to exchange it for another one so you may want to consider that.

Mine also works great, no issues with background noise. I got my first 8900 two months ago, used one for about a month, the center piece "mouse" stopped working properly, so they swapped it out with a new one. So far so good.

why is the cheap flip phones that they give you for free with a new plan, more durable then the ones we buy for say 200-400....still gets me everytime u can drop those cheap phones a million times, jump in a pool, do whatever, and still holds up
