Blasphemy, YES, but I'd definitely be interested if it came out. Looks pretty cool, and the idea is great - only problem is reliability and maintenance. It could be cool though - Remember the Lambo LM002? I STILL WANT ONE!!!
I heard they are coming out with a Lawn Mower, too. Oh wait they already do; I remember seeing one at Watkins Glen.
Blasphemy, OH YES! I'm inclined to think PhotoChop. If ferrari *really* wanted into the mass market, it could simply open up it's production & crank out more cars. Why else enter the SUV market? The LM002 was pre SUV & suggested Raw Power. I see it now. Picture a soccer mom. glances at her watch eyes wide at the lateness of the hour. Her darling enters the SUV late from after school ballerina class and mom says "We are going to be late for your advanced classes at the gifted institute. 18 miles. 10 minutes to class. ****, this is a Ferrari, I CAN MAKE IT!" And she does. Thankfully, the F1 & AWD doesn't allow for burn-outs.
It's definitely not real, but if it were just think of all those poor dads driving in minivans. Then this comes out, now they get to move the entire family around and be cool at the same time.
Photoshop, but interesting. There was a prototype 4 door Ferrari called the Pinin when Enzo was still alive. He asked one of the US automotive journalist if he liked it and whether he thought it would sell in America. Image Unavailable, Please Login
best looking SUV i've ever seen. It makes sense really. I'm sure the ralph lauren types (people who like the attention but have not a clue how to drive) would be all over it. I'm sure it would be exclusive and expensive - maybe 2500 copies at $150,000. AWD with an F1 tranny and the 575 motor... possible?
It would be funny to see Rehan buy an SUV that he'd probably be afraid to take out in the rain or snow!
i like it it will sure sell, no question about it. the guy who has a mercede sedan and a ferrari coupe that wants a SUV, now he prolly go with a caynne turbo, he would love a ferrari suv as alternative choice.
That would really be a step down,it would take away from the exclusivity that is Ferrari, then again, I just read in the FCA newsletter that some NASCAR teams are looking into technology from High Performance engineering (a company headed by Piero Ferrari ) and he may be developping engines for them. so anythings possible.
So with a lot of the EC selling their Ferrari: exclusivity in danger......Does that mean we are all on the Pagoni list? (oops, did I include me?)
