Hi, i still got a problem to bleed the 348 cooling system. When i open up the two bleed scews on the big waterpipe water runs out of the bottom one but not out of the top one. Is that normal?? But the water temperature is ok ~90°C in neutral , 85-95°C on partial throttle city driving no WOT. Even the radiator fans kick on normaly when the temperature is forced to over 95°C by revving the engine in neutral. But why is there no water coming out of the top waterpipe? Samy
You should be getting fluid out of both bleed nipples, I did mine last year and I got fluid out of both. Did you have your heat turned on with the fans at full blast while bleeding? If not, try that.
I removed my passanger heater infront of the car. i just blocked the line going from the rear of the car to the front to the electronic valve and thrown away the heat exchanger. Turning on the heater shouldn't change anything i think. How does the water come out of those bleed nipples with much pressure or without just running out like on a slightly open water faucet?
Definitely more than the tap "slightly turned on", you should get a steady flow. At first it will sort of spit out in spurts mixed with air, then eventually settle into a steady flow of pure fluid.
