I love how one of the selling points is "upgraded rims". WOW Let me put my surprise face on!! I thought 308's came like that!
Does anybody know the variety of red this car is? I've seen some darker red 308's but not sure of the name or code. Any help? Thanks
re-re-repost. BTW they are 'only' 18s. Although garish in chrome and that design, I like how they just fit the wheel well and not over do it.
I don't understand the term upgrade in this case. I would much rather have OEM 16 inch QV wheels. That would be an upgrade IMO not these things.
Are 1981 308's going for $40k now? That seems high. Those must be some expensive wheels. I stopped in this shop last month, they had a sweet looking 288 GTO for sale.
Here it is reserve is met http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=6212&item=2474209197&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT
I think every used car lot in the world has the 3X8s overpriced by $10K or more. They are collectible, ya know!
Since he PAID for the car; he should be able to do whatever he likes to it. JMHO someone bid $28k for it, so not everyone thinks it's ugly. I'd not choose this "upgrade", but more power to him.
If the 30k has been done recently, likely not, get the car for $28k, Flip the pimp wheels on eBay next week, buy proper wheels with the proceeds and maybe have a reasonable car for less than an Accord. Or, maybe not. No pics of inside does not bode well for a nice crisp interior...
