Blocking URL's is the most retarted things I've ever heard of. I just posted a photo of Maurizio Parlato sitting in the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. I'd post a link, but my perferred photo hosting site is blocked here on FerrariChat.

Oh well. Yet another barrier to contributing to the community...

+1. Some links deserved to be blocked but lately it seems like all links are blocked.

+1 Emil. IMHO this is a big turn off and Ferrari Chat should be above this nonsense.

    best regards,
    Jerry

What the heck is this **** of blocking URL's??? Why does it make a difference to Rob Lay or other moderators on Fchat?

If we want to go somewhere else to look at another site, we do. So what? Is it stopping us from coming to Fchat? NO, so whats the big deal?

What do we need to do to stop this from happening?

exactly, it makes no sense. we all know about all the other sites out there, it's the information age...
Whoever is doing the blocking needs to take some classes or something because the more you censor something the more people want to go there... I'm sure since they've decided to block out the site in question 5x more people checked it out because of it.

In the end who really gives a ****...

I wonder if Ferrari protects their trademaker that vigorously? ...and PS: I'm not uploading any photos to Ferrari Chat anymore.

the changes that have since disallowed the posting of URLs and pictures detract from the spirit of the community -- which is to share the passion and experiences we each have had with cars. this is unfortunate, to say the least.

Sometimes its a pain in the ass posting pictures. I always post a link to my site because I don't feel like uploading 100+ pictures.
