    St Charles will be swarming with Corvettes today thru Sunday June 17th.

    Thought I'd mention it in case any local Vette fans weren't aware.

    I'm tired of seeing 'Vettes, and yes, Mustangs too. They run rampant on the streets everyday!

    Why would anyone pay to see them at a show????

    Both are so commonplace, they've lost any allure to me.

    Now Skip! Good thing 'I' didn't post this major event. I like notifying the group on all types of car related events. This is a great show especially if you are looking for parts. Since my roots (in multiple ways) is with Vettes, I'll be there Friday afternoon to enjoy an "American Classic/Exotic". If you have never gone you should at least go once. It is a lot better than when it was held in Bloomington or Springfield!

    Heck,

    I didn't even know you had to pay to see them. Never gone to the actual "show" itself, but since I work in St Charles, I've seen the huge swarm of Vettes each year as they gather.

    Actually, I've enjoyed meeting some of the Vette owners from out of town & showing them some fun spots to drive in the area.

    Since I've never owned or driven a Vette, I've been pretty impressed by how much some of those guys have been excited about whatever German vehicle I happened to be driving at the time.
