    What type of hose is best for the oil blow by system. Mine are ragged and I want to replace them. NAPA gave me heater hose [3/4"] but I don't think it will hold up. They also have a "muti purpose" but it's red and it won't look very good. I am having a hard time finding breather hose in 3/4"

    Eaton Aeroquip has a 19mm fabric braided cover, black hose that is perfect. Part number is FC647-12. If you can't find it locally, try a place called ID Industries, 1-800-961-4346. Not sure if they have a minimum order, though. -Steve

    FYI...it's a blow by system as Ferrari calls it but it's "breather hose" in reality.

    It was bad enough when I had to learn all the British terms for my Triumphs, but now I have to learn Italian too?!
