Can anyone help me to locate a replacement rubber seal for the blow by valve assembly shown as part number 5 on this Tavola schematic? My car is suffering from vapour lock every time I refuel which makes restarting it a challenge and this part could be the source of the problem as it is worn and not making a decent seal. I don't know if the part is still available anywhere or if anyone has found a suitable alternative? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is a phenolic disc, not rubber. McCann used to have some but probably all gone now. If you could find the right thickness phenolic sheet you could make one.

On my car the valve was also missing and I could not find one anywhere. I just put the need for this on the long 'to find' list that you write with these cars.

But if you do not block off the pipes 24 & 25 in you diagram you will never get the car running right as these will be sucking air all the time directly into the inlet manifold. I blocked mine off with small bolts and hose pipe clamps and then just used cable ties to hold the pipes steady to a nearby bracket. Sorry I haven't got any pictures but I am sure you can see what I mean.

Sorry to say, but the valve will not have an influence on your problem.
There is no connection between refuelling and the blw by mechanism.
If you have problems with hot start (which is usual on the Dino)
you have to start with full throttler without pushing the pedal often.
