    Air pump.

Be careful using Scuderia diagrams for F430 applications because there are many differences. Pre-MY08 vs post MY08 F430s have differences but much fewer than Scud vs F430.

Yikes. I wouldn't even know how to begin wiring that into my existing diagrams. The Scud doesn't seem to have realy PSR11. Or maybe Euro cars don't have this relay (and my diagrams are based on Euro cars).

Also, there's already a wire on pin 17 of XR41.

I'd be curious to see if that just isn't a typo. Would your immobiliser diagram have a different pin number on XR41?

I thought the majority of differences would be in the ignition system (and trivial things like door wiring and glovebox lid wiring).

    But we digress ...

The seller lists them as printed from the 2004 cd , if that makes any sense

Fuse PB11 is not something which is going to change. Its function is fixed. Even the 360 has this. Just the component code has changed on the 360. By shorting out the plug on the fan controller, you've proven that the diagram is correct.

For reference, here is the OEM Scud diagram for the HVAC ECU.

On all versions of the 430, the wiring harness on the evaporator assembly and the HVAC ECU have the same part numbers, so there is no variance there.

If you're stuck for something to do whilst waiting on components, perhaps you could do wiring checks between the HVAC ECU and the fan controller?

I just have to figure out which is pin 1 on the yellow "A" connector. I think the pin numbering is like this:

Pin 1 should have live battery power on it. Maybe you could confirm this? (i.e the pin diagonally opposite the indent on pins 25 & 26)

All connectors in the diagram above are shown from the contact side, not the wire side.

    Update!
I was checking out the “hedgehog” looking ti start to remove it. I pushed the wires (blue and black) out of the way to get a better look - and lo & behold the blower fan started!

I’m away for a while so the car will be stored. I’ll have another look when update I get back.

    Cheers
