    Hi,
wondering if anyone can help with this problem
I was driving when the headlights suddenly went out. Would not respond to the light switch.
lights were still up and would not go down. lowered lights manually at the motor.
    Found fuse blown.
Replaced the fuse and it blew as soon as it was put in. (With light switch off)
Disconnected the lights and the motors and fuse blew again (as soon as replaced).

You need to get a meter on the circuit, and determine the what's up.

What else comes off that fuse?

Oh and were all the bulbs ok and working, assume you haven’t recently replaced bulbs at all?

Again, in terms of the potential short you’ve got, any sign of heat damage at the fuseboard?

Either you have a short somewhere or you have a loose connection somewhere, loose connection will increase resistance and it will get hot. Check the clips that holds the fuse and make sure they are clean and tight on all of them, if they are loose, you can bend the tab that holds the fuses inward.
