I'm having some difficulty matching this paint code. Anyone painters out there that can help? 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB in Blu_Acapulco code 133-A-6 it's on a Salchi Glidden paint sticker. It's a darker blue that has a bit of purple in direct sunlight.
Are you doing touch up? If so its not so much getting the exact code when it was painted. You want something that will match your paint now. Body shops have the ability to custom match your paint as it is now.
I've heard that the old paint codes don't provide the correct color possibly due to pigment changes and it's effect on the mole weight etc.. so they actually require being color matched to get what was originally there. That can be tricky or requires paint chip samples of the era. Due to the craptastic Vbulliten search code you're better off google searching ferrarichat paint codes and you'll find many threads covering this. Hope that helps...
