KHPC told me they have supplied hundreds of these and that strictly speaking they are not a correct plate but they said no one has reported a problem to them yet - will have to wait and see

    Felix,

if you car is still using the stock exhaust, you need to change it now. The original just doesn't sound right at all. Tubi or Challenge box will make a world of difference.

the challenge grill will sure help with the cooling but not too sure if it looks any better than the origina grill. I just think this colour (blm) already looks great on the grill. I am using the stock grill. I know the engine bay can get hot but what I do when I get home after a drive is to open the engine cover and leave it open for a while (eg. 30 min) to help it cool down.

    Thanks Mickey

I have a stainless steel sports exhaust its a Tubi copy) and sounds very similar. Its very well made, straight swap and sounds fantastic. I got it from Eurospares.

Thought about the Challenge (and listened to one) but it was just too much sound and a lot of resonance in the cabin IMHO whereas the 'zorst I got is a massive improvement over stock, looks good and has no noticeable resonance - just the odd burble on the overrun - :) AND was a fraction of the price at less than £600 (I guess around $1000)

    Hi felix,

congrats, lucky guy! Blu le mans at it's best. I like your CF seats. Can you give us more pics? Is a certain size?
REM: Michael Schumacher had a 355 GTS in Blu le mans as well, so we are in a special community :)

Both Tubi and Challenge are far better than the stock.

I have a Challenge box in my 355, it sounds great. Yes, it does have quite a bit of resonance in the cabin. I can understand that it is not necessarily to everybody's liking but so far I am happy with it.

I listened to a Tubi before I changed mine. It sounds good at high RPM but only at high RPM (eg. above 3000 RPM). Whereas the Challenge sounds terrific IMHO even at idle (again that may not be everyone's preference, it may be too much sound as you already pointed out).

I believe it was already posted at Fchat somewhere, but here it is:

Felix, I like you car better than the ex-Schumacher car. Blue is wonderful for this car and the interior is exactly how I would have wanted it in combination with the exterior colour.

Yes, tan looks better then Magnolia, but Schumi had a blue carpet :) Not bad.
@felix: thanks for sharing your seats. Those are probably much better in tight corners. Don't sell them, please ask me first, LOL ...

I may be going out on a limb...but I think thats the most beautiful colour on an F355....Especially, if it was a GTS.

Well done Felix - that is a magnificent 355; what a perfect colour combo.

I like the smaller plate or the sticker plate options - Ferraris were never meant to have front plates. I don't even understand the rationale for a front plate (apart from revenue generation for the DMV slugs).

Thanks Joe - in fact, thanks to everyone for their kind comments - I really enjoy the car and thats whats really important but it really rocks that real enthusiasts like it too.

    Cheers all.

Wow those Blues are really beautiful. I have a black B and sometimes wish I had a RED GTS, but those Blues are incredible.
