I ordered the spider few weeks ago and i can't wait for this car to arrive. Meanwhile i have my Argento Pista to drive.
Narrowed it down to either Blu Pozzi or Nero exterior but still deciding on having stripe or no stripe. Not sold 100% on the stripe at this moment. I am booking an Atlier appointment (closest one to me is in Nyc), so i can look at more options for stripes and in different colours.
Has anyone done an after market stripe, even in wrap film?. advantage it is reversible and cheaper, but will it look "seamless" on such a car?
Its crucial for me to have a lift, so no Asseto package.
Hifi stero and some carbon fiber.

    now the wait....

I just posted these images in the GTS pictures thread. I added the vinyl stripe once the PPF went on and it looks great. Of course if you feel the stripe you will feel the edges as it sits on top of the PPF but that doesn't mater to me. I like the look and can easily be removed once I get sick of it.

Blu Pozzi with Giallo Modena brake calipers is always a WIN! Much better than Nero IMHO. I would have personally gone for lighter silver wheels and a lighter interior... probably Cuoio with some Blu Sterling touches. Daytona seats of course. I'd keep the yellow details only on the outside (calipers, shields etc.). Regarding the stripe, I'd go for a Giallo Modena one... or, even better, without the big bold stripe but only with some Giallo Modena accents/pinstripes on the front nose and lower body, like the black SF90 with red pinstripes here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/148186023/

Congrats on your allocation. If mine comes through, I will do something quite similar.

Thanks, that is exactly what i have been thinking in giallo modena and do without the big stripe in front. This is an Atelier type of configuration, as the dealer can't do this on their system. I am planning a trip to the nearest Atelier (NYC) in next few weeks.

I don't really know... maybe just through Atelier?

I inquired about some pinstripes on the outside of the car as well. Here are a few of the bullet point takeaways to consider…
-They will pretty much do anything through the Atlier/Tailormade program but ballpark $15,000-$25,000 easily for anything with paint stripes
-It will slow the production time of your car down
-With the already “plentiful” aka “expensive” options list, small painted details were just starting to put me more into the uncomfortable price with all of the other options, but that’s me. If funds are limitless, go for it. It will be spectacular either way.
-Ferrari dealers are incentivized to sell options, they seem to be keen to point out in today’s market that you buy this car and you already have appreciation built in because of the premiums on the secondary market - let’s not kid ourselves, this likely won’t last forever.
-At some point, the small nearly minuscule feel of the pinstripe done through vinyl for a few hundred dollars is palpable when compared to the cost done by the factory with paint, not to mention, the reversibility of it. Ask yourself, other than you, how many people will run their fingers across the pinstripe of your car?
