Damn... I'm astonished that ridiculous historical livery could trigger that much enthusiasm. I find this car ugly.
I don't like the matte paints either. Nor do I really care for the roundel. What I do love is the normal color: Blu Scozia. If you like this color, also have a look at Blu Pozzi. They are close. Scozia is a bit more purple.
Exactly like me. Il know scozia, it looks great...it's the excitment around this particular car that I don't understand...with its livery and matte finish it's surely not the greatest exemple of scozia...
Ahahah sorry this car sports the two things I can't stand, roundels and matte paint...orange reflectors would have been the Cherry on the cake And thanks, it's been a long time I wanted to know the french equivalent of "Rabat-joie" , litteraly "Joy-Refolder" ahah
Lol, I literally had to google "Rabat-joie". Actually me too, I rather to just have the strip alone. I also think the matte is not too good. Regular blu scozia will be perfect!
I decided to not be a party pooper, since I pretty Hate really life party poopers (Especially when I'm drunk ahah) ,Enjoy the picture
So its not for me either, BUT, someone obviously loves it. And as I see it, they must have put a lot of thought into it, this only comes from passion for Ferrari. So I respect that, and as long as every time they see their car their heart skips a beat and they feel so happy, then I am happy for them. The painted shields work very well on the 812 and especially on this example.
I'm also impressed by how much excitement you show with your gray cars with gray wheels. For me it's a boring color, but I do not think it's ugly, it's just not my taste. This blue 812 has a normal and beautiful configuration (except for the livery), so, it doesn't cost anything to you be more polite in your comments. Just my opinion, nothing personal. Cheers.
Livery inspired by the Sterling Moss 250 SWB that he raced to his seventh victory at the six hour Goodwood RAC TT in 1961. The car was ordered by Rob Walker (heir to the Johnny Walker fortune) in 1960 but, before it was built, Moss crashed and broke his legs. Following a very speedy recovery, Walker sent a message to Ferrari urging them to build the car: “Moss is FIT”, read the message. Moss dominated an eventful six hour race gaining as much as a two lap lead before he made his final pit stop for four new tyres. A dominant victory by a heroic driver in a legendary car. How can anyone not like an 812 inspired by such history (even if you don’t actually like it). I love it, FTR. that finish sort of reminds me of the paint quality in period on the old 1950's Ferrari racing sports cars. Also with about the same amount of shine....
