Color combination does look good on its own, but it doesn't suit the personality of this car. In a Bentley or even the Scaglietti this would be fine, but the 458 should not look this "elegant", IMO. This car looks like it's made for boulevard cruising in Miami or Monaco, and will definitely never see a track during its life
I could add that the exterior color is ok but a black or grey interior would suit the sporty personality of the car much better. Less beautiful yes, but like I said this is not a Bentley...

Thats the first one I've seen in blue and it looks amazing... and sure to be a rare choice compared to red, black, or silver. Congrats on a gorgeous and unique choice!
I understand what you mean, but it's each to his own. I personally really like the blue colors on 458's. This Jim who did all the p-shop-requests when the first press pics were released made me one in TDF with a black roof. I still use it as my wallpaper and am totally in love with it. May be the owner of this wonderful blue one doesn't like trackdays or who says he hasn't a garage full of full-race track dedicated cars (Ferrari's?) to use on track and uses this classy one on a daily base? We shouldn't judge people on things like this. May be he looks down on people using their red street-ferrari's on track while he is doing 3 Cliente Corsi FXX-events each year, but is too classy to express this.
As JimF from the Netherlands noted when he started doing color changes on the only 4 official views in red of the 458 that existed- "A good design looks great in any color". With over 30,000 views of his color changes here and countless copies of his images spread across the internet many people obviously agreed with JimF's observation... CH
