    Has anyone seen the blue Lancia Beta on Ebay? Does anyone know about this car? It seems nice but the first bidder took it up to almost $3500 after it had an original list price of something like $1900. Not sure why someone would run up the bidding like that so early.

    Those Lancias were pretty cool, haven't seen the one on ebay though.

    Simple, They run it up under another name so the first bid in is the amount they will take for the car.
    Auctions have been known to do this too.
