Fantastic shots! SF is one of the best places to watch them perform.

Excellent shots, particularly of the Blues with the Golden Gate Bridge or Alcatraz in the background.

What was the other jet team? With that smoke I would think of the Patrouille de France, but those are not Alpha Jets.....

The other team was the Patriots, flying L-39s. http://www.fleetweek.us/page_airshow_patriots.html

    Wow...

Never seen the very, very rare acrobatic version of the 747... very cool. :)

Pensacola FL is home base, they practice a lot at home, lots of "shows" during the year
plus there is a Naval Aviation Museum that is well worth putting on a "things to do" list if one is in the area...

My moms house is 2 miles from Pensacola's Navy Base. Every Tuesday and Thursday for 24 years the Blue's woke me up. I miss those guys.

I missed the B-2; was probably inside eating food. But did get the AC boats, shown in a separate thread in the motorcycle and boating section. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=385952

Now that's a great shot, getting the F-18 and the VC-25 in the same frame!

    Thank you!

I was taking the overhead train/shuttle from the terminal to the car hire station and was just lucky enough to be gazing out the right side at the right time.. the compact camera I had takes a good couple of seconds to fire up and focus so only just got there..
