Blue Bizzarrini in Los Angeles with French plates...who owns it?

A 1967 GT5300 Strada...saw in Malibu last Sunday parking by the beach. It had French plates and the driver said it just came from France. i looked it up and found it was at a French auction awhile ago, one Bitzey expert said it sold for something close to $1.5 million. I didn't see the engine but the bodywork looked spot on. 2000 hours of restoration. The previous owner who had it for 25 years or a later owner also had another Bizzarrini-designed car you might have heard of...a Ferrari 250GTO. I'm working on an oil of it,here's my work sketch...

I did. And completed a rear 3/4 view painting and am working on a side view. Bitz has been my favorite car since 1966 when I tried to buy a t-top from a guy in Detroit who still has it over 50 years later. he bought it from his brother who needed a car to drive to work. .

No data on who imported it but why do some Bizzarrini Stradas have chrome headlight surrounds and some no headlight surrounds? Were they optional? To me it weakens the front look with no chrome around the headlight bubbles. I'll be doing a design critique as soon as I can find that answer. By the way doing a side view painting of the same blue car.

Blue one was on Jay Leno's You Tube show with the owner but Jay said the name so fast I didn't catch it.It was running rough when Jay drove it solo and he was saying it was too bad because it's such a nice car. I thought it had been restored in France but in the Leno show I thought he said Italy. I'll have my painting of it at Art & Books at Concorso. There ought to be a handful of Bitz's at Monterey considering there's an Iso class at Pebble. Don't count on one winning Best of Show as I think for over 50 years a postwar car had never won Best of Show. I could be wrong about that but if there's any more beautiful postwar car I've yet to see it....
