So I'm assuming it is slightly heavier now ... the owner really does not get the point of the F40 does he.

What a waste of a LM IMO.

I agree. As for a vinyl wrap being a waste ... hardly. It's still a LM. A few added pounds of weight on a car that no longer competes and is probably a weekend warrior at best would make no difference.

I agree it looks pretty good, & a wrap is only temporary & doesn't very much, so I say good luck to him.

Wow, tough crowd. I like it because it is completely reversible and something different, and i'm sure it does not add that much weight.

Is that Koji Ayoma's? If so, that guy clearly gets the point of the F40- he only has like a million of them.

Gentlemen: for those referring to this as an "LM", please bear in mind that this is one of many standard Eu/ROW street-spec F40s that has been modified with a few LM features. You can see street-spec features still in evidence, all of which would be absent on an LM. Of note, on the basis of its extreme specification, a works LM cannot be driven on the street, period. Clearance alone would put paid to that.

I thought Koji only liked white cars. Nevertheless it's different AND reversible, I kind of like it. The 5-10lbs worth of wrap won't make any bit of difference. At the end of the day, he has an LM and I unfortunately do not.

joe - figured as much, was actually curious. didn't think it was a real LM, but thought it looked pretty good none the less. like the black accenting in the vents.

Really? It's a wrap.....and almost anyone that owns an F40 or F40LM "gets it".

Go have a beer and lighten up a bit.;)

    For reals.

I suppose F40 owners should never take a passenger to save all that weight.

I have been a passenger in an F40 and I doubt the wrap or paint job would deplete the F40s greatness and I really dig the blue chrome.
