    Here ya go DJ. This is watcha need. A serra blue 512 TR. What a beauty. This is what I need. Gotta be more blue TR's out there. This car lives in San Jose. I'd sure like to see it in person.

    There was a beautiful azurro blue TR in the Puget Sound area a few years ago, one of the most awesome cars I've ever seen. Does it still live here?

    I really like the blue. Unfortunately 512TR is out of my price range.

    I will have to "settle" for just a plain old regular TR instead. The 308 has to go bye-bye first..............................

    There's this one in Jersey too. Dark blue interior, creme seats with creme and blue door panels. The dash is dark blue too. Had to be a special order. Nice combo. Only 54k...................................

    I am also partial to yellow or medium grey metallic (grigio) but would really like to stay away from an all-black interior.

    That yellow 512M is stunning! Does anyone have interior pics of it? I saw that it had Blue racing seats - Would love to see some pics, sounds awesome.

    The Blue TR thread caught my eye...
    ...then I opened it and saw my new (to me) 512TR!

    Took delivery Labor Day weekend. What a FABULOUS machine! :D

    Here's a few more pics. All but the last are in mostly overcast/flat light situatuations and (trust me) do not do the blue sera metallic justice.

    Out of the 3 versions the 512TR is my favorite.

    Blue with Tan and Black interior (black dash/console/door panel lowers etc) would work nicely.

    I agree... it's way over priced at $185K and I never cared for those wheels or M tail lights either. But, hey... it's YELLOW!

    I was originally shopping for a 512TR myself, but couldn't find one I liked at the right price, so I bought a BBi instead and I love it.

    I remeber seeing the add for your BBI (A few years ago?) & talking to my wife about it - I was also considering the car - It is a Beauty!

    You can't lose with a Boxer. It will always stand up in the market unlike the TR's that have dropped over the years.

    I could save that car if he sold it to me for 25k...................(I doubt he would)
    The interior is an easy, cheap (but time consuming) fix.

    Lord knows what the running gear is like but if it ran and drove half-assed it would be an interesting challenge......................

    Funny, there is a yellow '85 targa in Seattle for sale too, what are the odds of that?

    The ad says worn paint and interior, good mechanical, (price 58k?). Must have been a fad at the time.
