    Normal Sound.

BMC are the best filters. By far.

Completely normal, as others have said! BMC filters along with carbon fiber airboxes are some of my most popular modifications that I sell. They sound sooo good!

I just purchased BMC filters and looking forward to compliment them with the upgraded headers I'm currently installing. Now to look for a set of sport cats.

We are an authorized BMC retailer and we use BMC because among the Ferrari crowd they are known and trusted. They use a pleated cotton gauze filter that IS oiled.

Used BMC in my 360 and now the 430. Have used them for years in my p-cars. Yes, they are oiled. From the dozens of threads on BMC/K&N over the years (e.g., Rennlist), personally, the only times i've seen them muck things up is when an owner tries to re-oil them themselves. Excess oil can get on the air flow sensors. just buy new ones (filters, that is). Never had one issue.

Do they increase performance, not that anyone has ever been able to prove (again rennlist, and on the threads in this forum).

So, now to my thoughts after I added them to the 430. I was't really expecting any seat-of-the pants differences after having used them on the other cars. But the first time I laid into the car after installing them, i "believe" I could detect a more free wheeling engine. Perception, probably, but to the point that i noticed a positive difference. Like I said, first with any car. Maybe its the 430 engine. Who knows. Just my 2 cents...

Hmmm...weird...I am hearing whistling noise as well on hard throttle even with the stock air filter...maybe it's louder with the spider
