BMW 335is convertible

I've been promising my wife a convertible for a while and I've pretty much narrowed it down to a BMW 335is. This is based on several factors:

Budget: They're all used cars now, but with good CPO and extended warranty support.

Value: Everything I read and hear tends to confirm that BMW leads the industry in quality, reliability and residual vale. Fact or myth?

Hard top: I much prefer the security and looks of a retractable HT instead of a ragtop.

Fun: She could just as well do with a 328i, but what the heck, I might as well have some fun too!
