I find his post race interviews a lot more entertaining than those with most other drivers who simply regurgutate what their PR secretaries told them. Kimi is refreshingly unpolished, a racer who does his talking on the track.

Again nice avatar, I wonder why you changed it? Could it be that Kimi won the WDC? Oh I think so. In that frame of mine who cares what the interviews are like?

And Kimi stands out because of what? His voice? His answers are better than the rest, get over the monotone voice thing guys.

Actually I changed my avatar one day before he became WDC:
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=137158591&postcount=6

The reason for the change was that I swapped helmets: My Eddie Irvine helmet doesn't have the Snell 2005 rating and so I needed a new one. Finally my new helmet has been completed with the new paint job and all.

I agree that his answers are better than the rest. Remember Interlagos 2006 before the race? Refreshing honesty all the way.

Was that the time he tells the Speed reporter he had been taking a ****? Different?-Yes. Refreshing?-Debatable. Appropriate?- No. Oh well. Keeps things entertaining, I guess.

In a way it was tongue in cheek to a very loaded question.

That said he's not unpolished. He's just polished in the typical occident nihilistic way.

I EXPECT the people here to support Ferrari, but many ONLY support Kimi, and knock Massa. No reason to knock LH either, IMO. Bash away at RD, Max and Bernie, the 3 scum-egos. :)

    Agreed.
I support Massa too and think he has improved a lot since Turkey last year. What he did yesterday was selfless and honorable . I hope he gets to win a WDC before he leaves Ferrari.

    Cheers

How can you complain about a guy with 94 points?

You mean the guy who came in 4th?

Well look at the beating actual World Champions get on here: Villeneuve, Alonso, Hill to name a few

    4th equals Ralf Schumacher (2001, 2002) and Fisichella (2006).

how are they comparable? Both Hill and Villeneuve are unworthy champs in my book. They sat in a car that was miles ahead of everybody else´s. Once Schumacher got up to speed, they were nowhere.

You seem to search for the truth in statistics, but you won´t find anything analyzing those. There are simply too many factors that decide how many points a driver takes and whether or not he will be champion.

And the facts are that Massa held his own at the top of the F1 field. He simply has the speed and the skill to get the job done. He was a serious contender for the title and I see no reason whatsoever to declare Massa without a chance for a future WDC.

You are talking to people that would even complain if Felipe actually took the title.

    Be realistic.

In 2001 Ralf had only 49 points, this year Mass would have doubled that if he didn't give up the two spots. And Michael had 123 points, 13 more than this seasons winner which equals about a race and a half.

In 2002 Ralf only had 42 measly points and Michael had 144. In both of those years Massa would have been in second sport by 30 and 20 points over the driver that did finish in those spots.

In 2006 Fishi had 72 points, 22 less than Massa does this year.

Also JV, FA and Hill were all cry baby, sore losers. That accounts for a large percentage of the bashing.
