does pressing the DSC button turn off all the electronic aids...or just the DSC?? i heard that pressing and holding the DSC for 10 seconds turns everything off, anyone know if this is true? or how? also the car is an auto w/ the tiptronic stuff...

Press the ASC (or ASC+T) button on the centre console to switch off the traction control. The warning light on the intrument panal will remain on. Just be careful in the wet! The only reson the light flashes is to inform you that the traction control has had to react to a loss in traction. If you have CBC this is also dissabled by pressing the CBC button.

im pretty sure theres no CBC, or ASC button... i ccould be wrong though... where are they located? the DSC one was at the bottom below everything, just infront of the gear lever.
also this car doesnt have the GPS, so theres no real menu to change the settings and stuff...

also i think i might be wrong about the car, its an 2004 325i, thats the e36 right??

You have to hold the DCS for 10 secs, just clicking it one time only slightly disables it. Hold the button down until, the light goes off, i think it is more then 10 secs.

thats what we thought... is there a sound or another light on the dash letting you know all the aides are off? the traction control in that car is insane, it wont let you have any fun...
