BMW Group Get together at CC on 9-24

or 50 Fcars showing up at 6am so all the Mcars have to park in the exterior lots. now that would be classic.

No, they drive Lancer EVO's...

M3's are awesome cars. Not as exotic as the normal mixture of cars that show up @ CC, but still nice. As long as they play it cool then it'd be kinda cool to see some tricked out M3s.

 

Not that I've been to CC in 3 weeks, but we should start parking all the Ferraris and Lamborghinis in one of the lots you can get in to prior to 7:00 am like the one to the north that faces the "coned off" area.

Let the BMWs, WRXs, EVOs have the "coned off" lot.

The show will come to us...

Nobody cares what car you have, but they do care where you park it. The point of closing off the main area is to display exotic, rare, and overall special cars. Nowadays, many cars that are sneaking in there are not.

 

I agree 100%. This is an event for car guys. If you are a car guy, I don't care what you drive, you are welcome here.

As to where they are parked, it doesn't really matter. If you have to walk a few hundred yards to look at a nice car, it won't kill you, and chances are, you can use the excercise.

In newport beach, 360's are a dime a dozen. Starting to become pretty common. Maybe they should park on the side as well??


So, bring what you got, I don't care what it is. I'll bring what I got, and we can all have fun.

Hi,

I'm one of the guys meeting at CC for the BMW meet. To all your F-Car guys, we are there to pay respect to such all the awesome machines and to see all the wonderful cars at CC. Alot of the BMW guys have not had a chance to experience what it is like to see such a vast amount of car surpassing many car show in such a friendly place as CC.

1.) We are fellow car nuts that happen to own M Cars but one day would love to join the forray of cars that display at the main lot.

2.) We will not be parking anywhere near the main display lot. That has been made clear on the threads and that the main lot is reserved for exotics. We will be parking either at the far end of the north or south parking lots.

3.) There will be many tuned M3's so hopefully you can enjoy some nice BMW's as much as we enjoy seeing your Ferrari's at CC.

4.) If this is causing any concern with the exotics guys Lambo, Ferrari Owners, etc and you feel we are not worthy to also enjoy the show, I apologize but hope we can get along as in the end we all share the love for beautiful cars. Thank You.

Ditto!!There are far and worst situations that is going on around us and in this world. To be worried about what car or who's parking where. I just want to enjoy a day where all you see is beautiful cars and owners having a great time.

The exotic guys really don't have any say as to whom parks in the center. It is first there, first in. *I* feel as though the spots in the center are there to be enjoyed by the general public that stops by. But in reality, they are just parking spots. If you feel as though you guys have something special that you would like to share with everyone for WHATEVER reason, I say "Bring it on!"

Id say park wherever the hell you guys want! M cars are fantastic cars...wish I could have one! The great thing about crystal cove is its diversity...I could care less about seeing a row of 10 red Ferrari 360s over and over again every weekend...I come to see everything else! Dont let some of these guys turn you away from the show...the majority of exotic car guys here are great guys...real car guys! There isnt any sort of class structure at CC...and there shouldnt be either.

CC isnt an "exotic car" show...its simply a "car show". Its the only place in the world where you can have a highly modified Supra next to a vintage Bentley, next to an original GT500 KR, next to a nice M3, next to a Bugeye Sprite, next to an Enzo. Thats what makes it great!

 

Werd. We're all car fans. We can all enjoy. I'm bringing the Gallardo and the M3 that weekend!

Good to see some great attitude here towards what CC is all about.

I'm hoping to be there if I can get my car running again. Its been a while since Ive been to CC but it would be a perfect time with all the BMWs showing up.

 

HI guys. Well I am a lurker but I must say that I believe these M cars will respect that exotic lot, but I do feel like a car is a car and if its stock ya but if its highly modified thats cool. For example a 360 these days is cool but its just that another 360 however if I saw one like I saw the other day a twin supercharged one then that deserves credit. I dont know how to say this but sub's should have a dirt parking lot because they are rally cars HAHAHA so they need to get them dirty or shut up! I drive an M car but would drive something more exotic if i could afford it and a bank would aprove the loan. I am only 21 so give me some time hehe. I will be there to see the cars exotics and M's. whoever it was that was dissing the M3's on the last page, needs to step up. The M3 is becoming rarer than the 360 where I live, so don't eve start with rarity, and as for whoever was there first, well i've been going since the show pretty much began and it was a few classic cars.....no ferraris, so if we should give the lot to whoever was there first we wouldn't be looking at ferraris. Sorry for the flame rant but it pissed me off soo much to read that.

Whoever asked the question "Aren't there high school kids driving M3s?" That would be me . I love that car, and if anyone has questions about me deserving it, please PM me, and I will fill you in on my life. Anyways.....hope I see you guys this weekend.
