This is my daily driver, had it for 5 years now: E38 is my favorite larger sedan. Fast enough, agile, attractive, and surprisingly cheap to own.
I have an E90. Love it. This is the only picture I have on my new computer right now. Took it after a fresh detail. I'll post up more pics when I get a chance. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I loved my '85 635CSi. It was the "Ultimate Driving Machine" or whatever they called them but cost a fortune to keep going.

Well, here is my story with how I got hooked to the BMW brand. It goes back to early eighties to the time I got my drivers license, inherited my old man's 81 Buick Century, I was happy as pig in the mud I had a car at the age of 16, but still had my eye on my dads brand new 82 745I, one night when my parents were out, couldn't resist, the 745 was sitting pretty in the garage, keys hanging right beside it, let's just say took it out for a through test drive. That night the two week old 745 never made it home, instead it ended upside down on Mulholland canyon. Luckily I walked away from that horrific tumble without a scratch. That was my first experience with a BMW. Late eighties little wiser and more experienced, bought my first Bimmer, a 89 325IS, drove that car without a scratch for 9 yrs, when by the time I sold it in 1998 it had over 160K mi. I miss that little 325 till this day. In 97 I purchased my second BMW, a 540I 6 speed, even though it had electrical problems throughout my ownership, it was still a fantastic car. Eventually I got rid of it in 05. From 05 till 2010, don't know what I was thinking, no Bimmers!!! But now I'm back into the BMW ownership with my 2011 B7 Alpina. I own a 2006 BMW M3 coupe that I love and drive as a daily car to work. Its fast, luxurious, classy and tons of fun to drive while practical. I do want a Ferrari or Lamborghini someday which I am saving for as a weekend dream car. Maybe in few years, when depreciation hits the 458 Italia, I can buy a Ferrari at last. I drove a Ferrari California and liked it but its not as wild as the F430 or 458 Italia and for an exotic, I need wicked wild and fast looks and performance. BMW are great balance cars- fast, fun and great daily cars.
I love Bmw's. My wife and I have had the following 1987 325is, 1991M5,1992850[only bimmer I didn't like] 1996M3, 2000M5,2001Z8,2006M5, 2008M3.We currently have a 2010 X5M and a 2010M3 cab.
