    I had to do it again. It was impossible to get a Melbourne Red X6M, so I grabbed a 2012 ad my DD. I had it shipped from Chicago because that was the only low mile, fully loaded, one without some horror show interior color. That car in that color draws a LOT of attention. In a world of grey, silver, black or white cars, this is like a supermodel at a dungeons and dragons tournament.

    The bolsters were, the rest of the seats are well cared for original leather. It's the "Buffalo Leather," not the "Napa" and from what I have read, the Buffalo is more durable?

    I can't wait to have heat in my garage so I can do a proper cleaning and conditioning of the interior.

    My dad just got rid of his E39 M5 for an E60 M5. That V10 amazing - the power and the sound are perfect. Even just cruising in the city it is fun to drive but on the highway it is such a beast!

    He knows I'm looking for an E90 M3 so he needed to get a faster car :D

    Fun quick story on bimmers...

    My buddy was always talking trash About them until I finally got him to drive one.
    Of course he drives nothing but bimmers now. I think he has a 540i m edition now. He was a snob about cars and I was shocked he never took to them. Some ppl. Of course now he can't stop raving about them

    That’s because the Porsche is a DD.
    One is a machine the other is art.
    Similar for comparing anything from Germany to like products from Italy. You either “get it” or you don’t. Comparisons are meaningless.

    He should have kept the e39 m5. That v10 is a piece of junk. Big expensive problems with those engines. Vanos pumps, contecting rob bearings, Vanos cam sprokets, throttle acuators, etc..i could go on. If the car has SMG..oh my..the troubles just increased by 100%.

    Tell your dad to dump it while its still driving. Otherwise he is going to find himself throwing good money after bad into it.

    This watch was offered 20 years ago from bmw for 120 dollars and it was for the e30 m3 now a days they are for sale on eBay for 800

    There are dozens of BMWCCA “Tach” watches available. Every year the club introduces a new edition. They are battery powered from China.

    Whilst I love my more exotic cars, my first love will always be BMW , especially the E30

    This is my baby, never to be parted from me, '89 E30 320i 'Super' Touring (the 'Super' is my add on :))
