    I don't hang out on many of them, but the one I still visit is bimmerforums.com. Very good technical articles. I now only access it for selected info.

    There is the m5 board, good place if you have a M5 or M6. I had a M6 for about a year and a half, and most of the people know their cars on there, they just tend to see them as just as just more than what they are.

    i have been looking for a DE type car and have debated buying a spec miata or an s2000 for some time. really think i need something streetable as having a track only car for 1-2 DEs a month is a waste.

    i'm thinking e36 m3 is the way to go. i had a 95 with h&r springs, koni adj and some other mods. did well on the track and the seem to be in th 8-10 range now vs $30k + when i owned it. fun little car.
