I am not sure I buy 1,000hp without a dyno. Often tuners will use outrageous driveline loss numbers to justify higher claimed numbers. I've seen some folks claim 30% driveline loss! In addition, I doubt the engine will last tweaked to that level - that's really *really* pushing it. 30psi of boost? Yeowch!
I'm gonna have to raise the bulls#$t flag on 1000HP. That is a huge number. Just take a look inside the engine bay of a real 1000HP Supra to see what it takes to do those numbers. Darrell.
I'll stand by you on this one..... Look at the intake an exhuast manifolds. No way in hell are they good for flowing that much air.
does that fmic look tiny to anyone else? if you want to see a real 1000+hp car, heres a nice little skyline http://www.houseofboost.com/vids/1100skyline.mov
That's an exercise in "what were they thinking?". Not a chance in hell that I'd drive an E36 with 1,000 bhp hiding small brakes under the 17-inch wheels. Also, they seem to have omitted the comparison to the Veyron.
