Since many of us have BMW's as well as our Ferraris and there are these other sections, wouldn't a BMW section be in order. I would be nice to see FChat be "global" with car manufacturers. We seem to have such a large number of car owners here that it might be a valuable resource for that marque. Some of the more popular BMW forums like Bimmerfest.com seem to cater to modern cars more than the older ones I'd think it could prove informative.

Rob, I think it should be added, not be under general. Do other's concur?

I respectfully disagree. Not sure what "pistonheads" means as well. "Porsche" section is largely filled with modern model threads, don't see how a BMW section would be any different or less useful. Is it really a big deal to add this section, you really don't know until you try. Could be useful for bimmerheads.

I view Porsche as a sports car brand with an SUV, I view BMW as a luxury sports car brand with a wide selection of car and SUV's and a few sports cars mixed in.
