JOHN CARS ARE FIXABLE, LOVED ONES ARENT IM GLAD YOU AND LINDA AND FAMILY ARE OK FROM THIS ACCIDENT.. CONGRATS ON TANZAS WEDDING!! LOVE BRUCE-ANDREA
Good you are ok... being squeezed off the road is a big fear of mine, especially since I've had trucks put their turn signal on and start pulling left just as I start to pass them on many occasions. Once, in a blizzard, a truck did that and I slid for probably 20-30 yards (and the car started to creep sideways) before the AWD caught road again and snapped the car straight.
One of the basic laws of physics that I adopt while driving: "Never mess around with anything that's bigger than you." Good to have you among the living.
Appreciate the good wishes. "Never mess around with anything that's bigger than you." Benard, couldn't get away from it, we were half way into a curve (two lane country road), and this tractor starts coming coming around in the opposite direction clears with the tractor, but the trailer was half way over the double line. I had 4 feet to get the car through, of course that didn't work. I stopped, held down the horn, but the guy kept on going, the two rear trailer tires climbed up the front and crushed it down, the cop on the scene said it was a miracle that we weren't killed. The trailer shifted to the left (divine intervention) and came to a stop with the trailer up against the drivers side and the guard rail up against the passenger side, front end smoking, no way out, you can imagine my concern. Managed to get the engine started and just jammed the pedal and dragged the front end past the back of the trailer to allow us to get out. So the story goes. I won't forget this one for awhile.
