    I have always like the M Coupe and IMO the Z3 is a nicer design that the Z4.

    I remember driving one of those from Vegas to San Diego in the middle of the night.

    Car was a blast. Got her wide open (140+) a few times 'till i hit the speed limiter.

    Yes ... judging by the picture of the valve cover it's a S50B32 with 321PS.

    I had one and sold it before I moved to the US. ('98 in black with red/black interior) Definitely the best car I've ever owned. It had some handling issues out of the box, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a good tire/suspension setup.
    Pretty rare, just about anywhere in the world.

    I wouldn't really call it "handling issues" ... the rear just liked to hang in there for a while, think about it and then take off :D Nothing a skilled driver couldn't address, but something that could be fixed. Understeer was an issue too, but tires took care of that.

    I still have to say I loved it. I guess because I survived driving it hard for a little over a year on public roads when I was 21. The stupid things you do :D Now I go to the track every once in a while and let "it" out there.
