    Who: You and a Guest!
    What: Annual Toy Run
    When: Saturday Dec 10th
Where: Boardwalk Ferrari Plano Tx 75093
    Cost: Toys... enough said!
    Target: 100+ cars

With all the drives we've been doing in the past few months, I've been able to " pre-drive "a lot of old routes and even some new ones.

Some of the roads are not what they used to be - others are much nicer than before!

This event is open to all makes and models , all clubs and forums, the more the merrier!

Pictures and More Details to follow !!

Sweet! We're in! Support a good cause, drive fun cars, and an excuse to go toy shopping - that's win, win, win y'all. [emoji3]

Steve - the graphic says "see below for toy wish list", but no can see the list. Can you post the wish list or direct us to the appropriate URL?

Spent this past weekend ( Saturday and Sunday ) driving routes, trying my best to find enough roads to put together to create a fun and exciting route, that were not under some version of construction!

While I still have two more weekends to go, I have at least one route that I have decided to call " the crazy 8 -- takes about 2 hours at the speed limit, takes a route I haven't driven I a long , long while, has twists and turns, rolling hills, a long straight away or two, some bridges, and a few rail road crossings!

Here are a few photos from this past weekend....... Clark's BBQ in Tioga looks to be starting their rebuilding process, pallets of bricks in the parking lot and the old smoker is sitting on the slab....... oh and I included a couple photo's , proving what I preach in the drivers meetings.... there are tractors out there... and not the Lamborghini kind..... LOL

^ Just got back from giving the Cali some exercise up northwest of the Metroplex, bear Saint Jo and Illinois Bend. Roads are great up there this time of the year. Hope the weather stays cooperative.

after 2+ weeks of driving every imaginable route and more, I have been able roughly a
2 hour drive together that avoids construction, road ways that have been ground up to dirt, broken up road surfaces, closed roads, police stations, and major interstates!

We will have police assistance to get everyone on the Dallas North Tollway as a group this year, which has helped in the past. I still suggest everyone bring a passenger to help with navigation , its always more fun to have a guest with you!

If you do not already have the WAZE app on your phone, I suggest getting it, as I will have a pre-drive car heading out 10-15 minutes in front of the main group, in order to tag any last minute changes to road conditions, animals on or near the roadway, police presence, or other possible hazards.

Be sure to arrive with a FULL tank of fuel, though there will be gas stations along the way, or " rest stop " areas as needed, for those that had a lot of coffee before hand!

We will have coffee , juices, and lite breakfast items at Boardwalk before the drive.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next Saturday!

Ok, if you really need an LTD lead I can bring the daily driver.

I was hoping to lead the beater F150 group since mine is kind of a sports car since it has a 5 speed. I can even put scuderia shields on the fender!

Did someone say "beater pickup truck with Scuderia shields" group?!? If the long range forecast doesn't improve, we may be in that group.

Would have loved to partake this year now that I finally picked up a new toy last month; last time was years ago. No weekends off this month, though. :(

Looking forward to any coverage. :)

Here's the "route" ... Hoping for sunny skies, though we've had cold, wet, even snow one year!

If you have ever wanted to go on a drive , this is the one for you! You can bring your DD , as we will have cars from all different brands attending.

The drive itself starts at 9am sharp, with Plano Police blocking off the route to the Tollway.
Then, approximately 2 hours later, we will end up back in Frisco Tx at a favorite lunch spot.

This route has a lot of open road(s) , some elevation changes, some twisties, and even a water crossing or two...

Feel free to invite your friends to come along!

    See everyone soon!
