    Really a shame. All of this could have been avoided with a $139.95 EPIRB.

    Huuuuuuum...Only three replies since this thread was posted. If the victims were a father with his three young boys, I'd guess there would have been 25+ replies. If so, would one assume that most of us are kinda getting sick of sports figures in the news these days?

    certainly a shame, but what in the hell were they out in a 21 foot boat for? just a brief look at the weather showed a storm coming. not very smart planning by these guys. a 21 foot boat doesnt belong in the gulf of mexico with 4 grown men in it, especially with a storm bearing down.
    none the less, hate to hear it for them, a tragedy that never shouldve been.
