Just heard on the Today Show this morning that Bob is hanging up his hat with the Price is Right. Am I the only one here that can barely remember life before him and that show? Looks like June will be it.
It's going to be really weird not hearing that song theme and voice in the background TV on that rare occasion that I happen to be home during the weekday morning. I've been watching it since early grade school.

A true icon of daytime game show television. Nobody does it like Bob Barker.

82 years old, hats off to him for a long and great career.

Bob Barker was a US Navy pilot in WWII flying F4U Corsairs (the war ended before his squadron got into combat), so my hat is off to him twice!

I was born in 81, think he was hosting well before I was even around.

I have some found memories of hanging around my parent's business as a kid watching the price is right during summers :)

My dear Mom watches this show every day and I'm sure she will be heatbroken. I like the guy and think he does a great job. I also have to watch it when Mom visits, every day.

I remember that show when I was a kid. His wife actually was on it quite a bit.

Sad Sad day. I wanted to try and make it out to see the show that captivated me throughout all those sick days and summer days. It was amazing while it lasted. Good run Bob!! You will be missed!
