    Anyone ever read his books? I had a few that I bought in the early 90's; they were fun.

    Yep. One inspired me to try the Camino Real when in Mexico DF. Great hotel right across from Chapultepec Park. Cool to see where some of his inspiration came from. Never could find the other establishment though!

    The first F1 related fiction I read was Alistair Maclean, IIRC it was 'The Way to Dusty Death' in the 70s. I did read all the Bob Judd books, back when they came out. Not too inaccurate, I remember enjoying them.
