You see, what they did is, they flipped the image like so below. Then they moved the triangular sticker to the other side. The Jota had the Pantograph wiper stalks emanating from the driver's side directly in front of the steering column, and the electronic shut-off was situated within the air-box on the passenger-side. The sticker was always on the side of the shut-off. There is no question about this in dozens of images. Not a huge deal, but I wonder why the alteration of Zagari's iconic image as this will be instantly noticed by anyone who knows Bob's Jota. Surely Im not the only one who has observed this? For clarification, the August 1971 issue of CAR magazine is an excellent basis for ascertaining the location of the Pantograph wiper, electronic shut-off (I'm assuming that's what that feature is), and sticker, in relation to one another. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are not the 1st one as the Editor already mentioned it to the author who has decided to make it like this in order to have some people to speak about it, and it works well... BTW, I presume you know the author as well, so it won't be a problem for you to admit her choice ?
Is it a copyright issue? Yes agreed, its always the author's or publisher's choice, and I agree, it sure will be a talking-point!

I wish that your expert eyes also noticed that the silver thick cover of both books is a wink to the aluminium sheet separating the 1st production Lamborghini : 350 GT which was the favourite model among all Bob has developped...
I noticed. In your first post on the new book http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/144981830-post24.html the bottom image shows the cover which points out "special cover reproducing the insulate aluminum sheet of 350 GT engine bay". Hard to miss, very cool idea.
Great collectors item but does it have the stories from the days? The relation with his bosses and colleagues in the factory and the technical issues he encountered in those days with every model he nurtured, has the author managed to go in details?
Ordered my limited edition (already have the first one), and received it... plenty of great content that I enjoy! Photos and stories I have never seen or read elsewhere! An expensive book, but a worthwhile investment for any Lamborghini enthusiast. The driving gloves that are included with the book are a nice touch! Thank you to everyone who presses forward in documenting and sharing Lamborghini history.
I ordered the book a couple of weeks ago- it hasn't arrived, and there is no response to requests to verify receipt of payment or give any tracking number. Anyone else having similar issue?
Received it last week! Fantastic book, definitely one of the best Lamborghini books that I have. Both for the content and the packaging! I love those hands on insiders stories, this is really what I am looking for in a book. Plus the book in itself is superb, the gloves are a very nice touch! Well done Cristina and Olivier!
