    When I owned an exotic car repair business, I occasionally sent cylinder heads and other aluminum parts to Bob for repair. His work was superb - welding and machine work that restored part to as-new condition. Anyone know if he's still in the business?
    I believe he was in Arizona.

    Yes. He and Alberto Pedretti rebuilt the motor in my P4. Bob is listed in Scottsdale.

    FYI Bob was Automobili Lamborghini's first test driver & he's a Kiwi, same as McLaren. Cool guy although a little ornery when pestered Ive heard

    Yes, now I recall - wasn't he quite instrumental in Lamborghini coming to the U.S? Someone said that he was a development engineer and was involved with the Miura.
    I delt with him on a number of occasions and I found his manner professional, no nonsense, right to the point. We even had some interesting chats about some of the engine reconstruction projects he did. Quite a bit of experience.
    Anyone have his address/phone number? I promised my GTC a rebuild at 200,000 miles and it's getting close.
