Well, I got my 550 out of the shop tonight and I decided to go for a ride.......IN THE POURING RAIN! First stop. Westside Pavillion parking garage. Hunting for car alarms. Not the greatest of nights, since the Xmas rush is over. the X-pipe and Tubis only managed to set off a few alarms and the security guards didn't chase even us out like the last time. Oh well, there is always another day! Second stop. Looking at exotics. Checked out a few Murcies, an Enzo, a Carrera GT and a few Stradales. All the while, windows cracked, Cohiba Siglo IVs burning and water pouring on my arm. Good thing I had a towel for the window switces. Note to self...look into rain gutters! Stereo on...loud. Engine note? I've heard it already! Back home. Anyway, she's bedded down now, waiting for tomorrow. We're expecting heavier rain. ASR off Wooo hoooo! Jimmy take notes. Learn to live! DL
Ah baby, that's the DL style. Name's Nasium, eh? Big swingin and cool daddios are the game. A little water, a little cohiba, and a little CF - true CA style! --Dan
See this is one reason why FCHAT is so interesting. On one hand some people never hit 5th gear in their 360's and go around corners completely vertical on their Ducati's, and others set land-speed records in parking garages.
Were you rollin' strong in a 5 mile radius or did you make a quick stop at Pavillions for some C22H17CIN2?
No worries there! His motto is: "Old enough to know better, young enough not to care." Which, I think is a belief that does not wear off with age.
My friend drove me half way out there, my other friends didn't want to meet us halfway. You got it all wrong, brother. I'm not bitter, I'm disappointed.
Dude. 1/2 way would have been the Mel's on Sunset. Get a cell phone BTW. I tried calling you but I did not have the other phone number handy. BTW, Darth has EXCELLENT car control in the wet. Pucker factor was a 10 for a normal driver. With Darth, a 2
