I saw some wheels on ebay and the owner stated that they were from a s65 and taken off a customers car. I called and hooked up with the owner and some guy. We met at their new show room off of Palmetto Park Road in Boca, just east of I-95 (next to the nail salon on the north side). I thought it was his place of business. But when I got there, they had wheels mounted on the walls along with sets of tires. The owner was very cocky, hey I own this place how can i help you. I spoke to Peter and looking to purchase the set of OEM wheels from the s65.

Here they are, pick a set.
hmmmmmm there sure are a ton of OEM wheels here. How did you get these. My customers; I own a benz dealership. How much / $2,800 for the wheels and tires. That is very reasonable, since each wheel cost $2,800 from the dealer. So are these OEM (original benz wheels) yes replyed the owner

ok, it was late so we decided to put them on in the morning. That night I went on a mercedes forum and there are a ton of threads of guys getting knock off wheels from china from west palm, boca and they are pissed. The thread told you what to look for to verify if the wheels were OEM. of course they are not.

Has anyone been by this place ??? I would have been REALLY pissed off and there would have been some furniture moving if I would have purchased a set and found out they were from china and not OEM wheels.

Just throwing this out there. These guys should be stopped and dragged down the f"""king street.

Anyone stop by and see them yet ???

They are still on ebay and selling as if they were OEM, I reported them earlier and we will see what happens.

I'd call his bluff and ask him which Benz dealership he owned and then would have told him that is closer to where I live, work, etc. and can I make an appointment to get an oil change there next week and have the tires installed at the same time at his dealership. Then I would call the dealership and tell them that this guy is making up stories and see if they can have their corporate office get after him for selling fake parts.

Report it to the local police. This would be a quick hit for their white collar crime unit.

There was an article in the Post today about brazen thieves that have been steeling wheels from cars in dealership lots. Maybe they ARE real -- just purloined.

I never purchased them from there. I did get them, but from G-Roads in Ft. Lauderdale.

I hope that you have a ton of cars, min order is 100. Anyway the price is the price and it included tires. Did not break the bank and was less than the 2800 that the crooks wanted in Boca.

Not bad, I have had and currently have the higher end brands on the other cars and these wheels balanced out and seem to be just as good as the others. So far so good. I am sure if I hit something the wheel will crack and then have to be replaced.
