I had the dealer service my 2017 488 Spider today. It was stuck in WET mode and I wanted them to reprogram 2 newly ordered keys which came with a new code card with the VIN on it. I purchased my car as a theft recovery. The auctioneers jumped the car several times which may have caused it to go into WET mode. The only key I received for the car was a hacked non-Ferrari key. So, I ordered a key block kit which included 2 new keys, a code card with the VIN on it, glove box and door cylinders.

Today the dealer could not program the keys to the car. They say I need a new Body Control Module which needs to be manufactured to my car which may take up to 12 months to come in because they are on back order. Are Body Control Modules exchangeable? My dealer tells me they are not and must be ordered specificly for a car. I always thought a Body Control Module could be reflashed.
