Was driving a 2008 F430 the other day with 12k miles and I noticed when backing out of driveway at angle there was some creaking and rattling, is this normal?

Somewhat normal. On my 05 it was sway bar bushings. A dab of lithium grease between the bar and bushings fixed it..... 30 minutes work

My '08 does it. Mine is a little lowered as well so I'm sure that it doesn't help it much.

I have an 09 SCUD and it does it when backing out of driveway and being at an angle on the decline. That does not bother me as I have had other cars do this and assume its normal. What is bothering me is there is some hard to explain noise of maybe something lose coming from the right side of the car. Can't tell if its from the front or rear. It has happened the last few times I have taken it out. The last time it did not occur till near the end of my drive????

Sometimes I'll get a little "itching" noise when I'm driving over the apron of the driveway. I think it's the corner of the dashboard up against the A-pillars. It sounds like the 2 pieces of leather rubbing on each other. It's very slight and it only happens sometimes (I think it's temperature dependent), so it doesn't bother me to much. Sometimes on an apron, I also get the tires to make a skipping/rubbing noise when approaching the apron on an angle. That's totally normal for the car to do that. It has to do with the steering angles when the wheels are turned, they are not the exact same angle. Other than that, the car is completely solid and silent when driving in every other situation.

I got the same noise, for sure it's coming from the dashboard near the windshield.

Same for me too. Glad to know it's 'somewhat' normal.

I have the creaking too. I had the bushings lubricated, but the creaking came back. I've just come to live with it, and when driven, the roar of the engine drowns out the creaking anyway. It's actually quite nice to hear that others have the same issue.

Mine came with a penny stuck between the dash and A pillar on the drivers side -- now I know why. :)
