...no not for me - for my car, some kind soul backed into my Porsche and and took off without leaving a note. So I am looking for a good body the does nicer cars. Suggestion welcomed. I least it wasn't the Ferrari but still major hassle...

I suggest you talk to Berli's Fine Auto Finishes in Pflugerville. They have done great work for me and everyone else I know of who has had them do work for them. They do the job right the first time. They are also very trustworthy. I had a Lexus that the insurance co. wanted to fix and Berli's talked them out of it and the car was totaled.

As your car is a Porsche, I also suggest you talk to David at Moorespeed. He does a lot of Porsche mechanical work and probably has some good leads for body work.

I agree that Berli's is the place to go. I have never seen a facility like theirs...almost ashamed to call it a body shop. I understand folks ship cars to them from all over given their quality. Not cheap though!

ps: Check out the original OCC Chopper they have on their showroom...a work of art!

There's also Sterling in Dripping Springs. He's quite exclusive in what he does and does not do, and favors Porsches more than anything else.

Thanks guys, Berli is a name that keeps coming up so I am taking it up there for am estimate - it isn't a major damage, tailight, quarter panel and bumper but since it is a perfect low miles last year 993 (when quality still mattered to Porsche) I am trying to keep it as nice as possible.

My office parking lot - only the second time I left the car out - usually it is in the gated enclosed garage in the back but the garage door opener wasn't working...and of course that was my lucky day!
